How to Donate Books
We welcome your book donations year-round. Please read the following before making your donation.
- We prefer donations Monday thru Friday.
- Donations must be boxed or in sturdy bags. Please refrain from packing heavy boxes.
- Bring your donations inside the Freeman Store during open hours. (Wed-Sun 12-4pm)
- If we are closed, leave them on our front porch.
- Have 3+ boxes? Email us at UvfgbevpIvraanIn@tznvy.pbz to schedule a drop off.
We do NOT accept:
- Bibles and Religious workbooks
- Business and Management books
- Dictionaries
- Encyclopedias
- Magazines
- Textbooks
- Romance Novels
- Games & Toys
- VHS, Cassettes, CD, DVD
All items donated to HVI become property of Historic Vienna.
Any items left on our porch become property of Historic Vienna.
Receipts for tax purposes available upon request or click here to print a donation receipt.
