Join a distinguished panel of historian and archivists and learn about the people who lived in our area at the time of the nation’s birth.
- Discover what they did, what they believed and other aspects of life here such as the local economy, religion and the courts.
- Sponsored by the Vienna250, this panel discussion will set the stage for a deeper understanding of the events leading up to the Declaration of Independence, and Vienna’s role on that remarkable era.
The Panel will include Georgia Brown, Historic Records Manager and lead archivist, Fairfax’s Historic Records Center; George Oberle, History Librarian and Associate Professor, George Mason University; Anne Stuntz, President, Historic Vienna, Inc. The moderator is Chuck Anderson, Member, Vienna Town Council.
